A striker’s work is to hit. Strikers are used in games like carom and cricket. The person who hits is called a Striker. We have selected the name Baroda strickers because we want to hit people’s minds about environmental issues. And the ‘C’ included in Strickers stands for Change. So we are called Baroda Strickers.

AWARENESS CAMPAIGNS ON UTTARAYAN

TU SAMBHAL JAA – THE EARTH SONG

I believe Art and Music is the best way to convey a message and express. Keeping that in mind our long wish of launching and environmental song of our own came true when we made Tu Sambhal jaa – The earth song. The song is written and sung by me (Prarthi Shah) and Kavya shah, composed by the band Ahmon and along with male singer Aditya Gautam.
The song tells you the story of the nature once being so beautiful and untouched like a dream and how it slowly starts to vanish when the industrialisation and commercialisation increased. Tu Sambhal ja in Hindi means that you have to start to be careful now and stop the irreparable loss of natural resources. The song is made in Hindi language to reach larger audience and it is composed in Desh raag. Video was appreciated by many environmental experts and it was shared widely for the awareness purpose. The video song is available on youtube to listen –
